Ingredients

1 c. unsalted butter

1.5 c. brown sugar

1 egg

1 t. vanilla

1 c. flour

1 t. baking soda

1 t. cinnamon

1 t. ginger

1 t. salt

1 (12 oz.) package semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 c. chopped walnuts

Preparation

Cream butter. Beat in brown sugar, egg, and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, and salt. Blend into butter mixtre. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts. Refrigerate until firm.

Preheat oven to 375. Lightly grease baking sheets. Break off small pieces of dough; roll between palms into 1 inch rounds. Bake 10 minutes.
