Ingredients

Tomato paste - 1 small can

Ketchup - 1/3 cup

Liquid smoke - 3 drops

Lemon juice - 2 tbsp

Garlic powder - 1 tsp

Maple syrup - 2 tbsp

Salt and pepper - dashes

Chili sauce - 1/3 cup

Tobasco - 1 tsp

Cranberry and Pomegranate juice - 3/4 cup each

Corn starch - 2 tsp

Preparation

In a pan, add the Cranberry and Pom juice with starch. Put on a low boil until reduced and thickened.

In a bowl, mix the tomato paste, ketchup, liquid smoke, lemon juice,maple syrup, some S&P, chili sauce, a few dashes of Tobasco.

Let the reduction cool and slowly it to the bowl with the rest of the ingredients and mix into a paste. Keep the paste fairly thick by not adding all of the reduction if there’s too much (if you’re doing ribs, this would make a nice, sweet glaze before BBQ’ing).
