Ingredients

2 - Roasting Potatoes

2 - Sweet Potatoes

2 - Parsnips

1 - Medium Turnip

3/4 pound Baby Carrots

1/4 cup Olive Oil

Pepper to Taste

1/2 cup Real Maple Syrup

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Peel and cut all vegetables into bite size pieces. Place all vegetables in a large roasting pan. Drizzle the vegetables with the Olive Oil and Pepper to taste. Stir all vegetables to ensure even Oil and Pepper distribution. Drizzle 1/4 cup of Maple Syrup over the mixture. Stir once again to ensure even syrup coverage. Bake in oven for approx. 35 - 40 minutes or until veggies are tender. Remove from oven every ten minutes to stir. Add the balance of the Maple syrup prior to stirring the second time.

I like to use a considerable amount of Pepper as it makes for a fabulous Hot and Sweet flavour.
