Ingredients
1 (12 oz pkg)box Crispix cereal
5 ounces slivered almonds
6 ounces toasted and chopped pecans
3/4 cup butter
3/4 light corn syrup
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
Salt to sprinkle
Preparation
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Lightly grease a large roasting pan. In a large bowl, mix cereal, slivered almonds and pecans. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and mix with corn syrup and brown sugar. Pour the mixture over the cereal. Stir to coat all ingredients in the bowl. Pour the coated mixture into prepared roasting pan. Cook 1 hour in the preheated oven. Stir every 15 minutes. Sprinkle with salt. Cool on wax paper. Store in airtight container. Enjoy!!!
