Ingredients
12 medium sweet red bell peppers
12 medium sweet green bell peppers
12 medium sweet white onions (vadalia onions are good)
2 Cups white vinegar
2Cups sugar
3 Tablespoons salt
Preparation
Chop peppers and onions. Cover with boiling water and let stand for 5 minutes and drain. Add vinegar, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes. Pour immediately into clean hot jars (8 oz) and seal. Put sealed jars in hot water bath for 10 minutes. This insures a good seal. Ready to eat in about a week.
