Ingredients

Wonton wrappers small size

1 small can or 2 fresh Sweet Potatoes

1/2 cup Whipped cream cheese

1 tsp Chinese 5 spice

1/4 cup Maple syrup

1 tsp Cayenne pepper powder

Pinch salt

Canola oil for frying

Preparation

Roast sweet potatoes until tender or use prepared from can. Mash potatoes and mix with cream cheese and Chinese 5 spice and pinch salt. Assemble wontons by dabbing edges with water and filling with potato cheese mixture. Fold over in a triangle and pinch edges to seal with a fork. Heat canola oil in saute pan and fry filled wontons on both sides until golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Dipping sauce: Heat maple syrup over med heat and stir in cayenne pepper.
