Ingredients
3 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
2 lbs sweet potatoes, pealed, and sliced (1/2 inch slices)
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and chopped into large pieces
Preparation
Melt butter in non-stick fry pan. Stir in brown sugar and cardamom. Add sweet pototoes and apples. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
