Ingredients
1 c water
1/2 c sugar
1 bottle white zinfandel wine
750ml/3 1/4 c; chilled
2 c assorted fresh whole berries, sliced nectarines
Preparation
In a small mixing bowl stir together water and sugar until sugar dissolves.
In a 2-quart square baking dish combine sugar mixture and wine.
- Cover and freeze about 6 hours or until firm, stirring once or twice. Use a large metal spoon or ice-cream scoop to scrape mixture into small bowls. To serve, place each bowl into a slightly larger bowl. Surround small bowl with fresh fruit.
