Ingredients

2 cups flour

2 tbsp sugar

3 tsp baking powder

A smidgen of salt

1/2 cup margarine

1/2 cup milk

1 egg

Preparation

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl
  2. Rub in the margarine
  3. Add the milk and beat in the egg
  4. Knead until the dough is elastic
  5. Plop out 3/4 inch thick patties
  6. Bake at 450 F for 10-12min.
