Ingredients
2 pounds Swiss chard, tough stems and center ribs removed, chopped
1/8 cup water
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
Preparation
In a large pan, saute swiss chard in water over medium heat until slightly wilted, about 1 minute, adding more water as necessary to prevent scorching. Stir in garlic. Cover and cook until tender, about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Uncover and cook another 1-2 minutes until liquid evaporates. Stir in lemon juice and pepper.
