Ingredients
1 pound swiss cheese
2 Tbls. flour
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup dry white wine
2 Tbls. Sherry
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp nutmeg
dash white pepper
Preparation
Cut cheese into 1/4 inch cubes and sprinkle with flour; toss cheese until coated. In earthenware fondue pot, heat garic and wine over low heat until bubbles rise to the surface. Add cheese mixture, 1/2 cup at a time, stirring after each addition until cheese is melted and blended. Stir in sherry and seasonings. Serve with bread or other food for dipping.
