Ingredients
Cookies:
1/2 Lb Butter (soft)
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
3 Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
1 Tbls Lemon Juice or Anise Extract
1 Lb Ricotta Cheese
4 Cups Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
Frosting:
1 lb box powdered sugar
2 tsp Vanilla
2 Tbls Melted Butter
6 Tbls Milk
Preparation
Cookies:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat together Butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add Vanilla, Ricotta and lemon. Add flour, baking powder and baking soda.
Roll into balls or drop by rounded teaspoonfulls. #70 Disher
Bake 15 minutes.
Frosting:
Beat all ingredients with fork until smooth.
