Ingredients

4 c. peeled & diced apples (delicious or granny smith)

1/2 c. sugar

8 oz. crushed pineapple in juice (drain and save juice)

8 oz Cool Whip

1 tbsp. flour

1 egg

2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar

1 c. spanish peanuts with skins (salted)

Preparation

Mix flour, sugar, pineapple juice, egg and vinegar in small pan. Stir over medium heat until thick Refrigerate mixture until cold Fold in Cool Whip, fruit, and 1/2 of the nuts. Sprinkle remaining nuts on top Chill 1 hr. before serving
