cups finely shredded green cabbage (1 medium head)

cup thinly sliced red onion

cup grated carrots

cup white wine vinegar

tablespoons sugar

tablespoons coarse-grained mustard

tablespoons mayonnaise

teaspoon salt

teaspoon black pepper

teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)

Preparation

In large bowl, toss cabbage, onion and carrots. In small bowl, stir together remaining ingredients with whisk until blended.

Pour dressing over cabbage mixture; toss well to coat. Cover; refrigerate 20 minutes. Stir before serving.
