Ingredients
1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
2 Tbsp Sea salt
2 Tbsp Butter
4 Olive oil
1 3/4 cups blanched Almonds
Extra sea salt for sprinkling (optional)
Preparation
Combine the cayenne pepper and salt in a bowl. Melt the butter with the oil in a frying pan. Add the almonds and fry them, stirring for 5 minutes, or until golden. Tip the almonds into the salt mixture and toss until the almonds are coated. Leave to cool, then store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
