Ingredients

1 pie crust

2 eggs

3.5 oz. butter, soft (scant 1/2 cup)

4.4 oz. of almond powder (1/2 cup)

4.4 oz. of sugar (1/2 cup)

3.5 oz. chocolate

1 lg. can pears

Preparation

Preheat oven to 430. Blend butter, almond powder and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time. Melt chocolate. Slice pears. Lay crust in quiche dish and prick sides and bottom with fork. Pour chocolate on crust, then almond mixture on top. Put sliced pears on top in a circle. Bake on bottom rack for 30 minutes. Wait until cold to eat.
