Ingredients

4 oz stick dairy free margarine or butter

1 c plain wheat or GF flour

½ c TdG coarse white cornmeal

½ c soft brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1 1/2 pounds rhubarb or other fruit

Preparation

Rub or cut the shortening into the flours thoroughly. Toss in the sugar and cinnamon. Fill a dish with the prepared fruit of your choice (rhubarb, plums, apple), toss with sugar and flour and add a little water, all depending on the fruit and your taste. Cover with crumble and bake at 350 F for 45 min, then 250-300 for 15-25 min more.
