Ingredients
1/2 lb. (2 sticks) unsalted butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
1 c. ground nuts
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375. Cream butter, sugar, and egg yolk. Slowly add flour and cinnamon. Spread onto greased cookie sheet. Brush top with egg white and sprinkle with ground nuts. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Right after baking, score with a knife into bars. When slightly cooled, break into cookies.
