Ingredients
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon red pepper
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/8 teaspoon cumin
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 pounds shrimp
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/4 cup tequila
2 tablespoons cilantro
1 tablespoon lime juice
rice for serving
Preparation
Begin cooking desired amount of rice for serving.
Combine 1/4 teaspoon salt and next four ingredients. Add shrimp and shake or stir to coat.
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in skillet. Add shrimp and cook for 3 minutes. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add tequila and 1 tablespoon cilantro. Cook 1 minute.
Combine rest of salt, oil, cilantro and lime juice. Pour over rice.
Serve shrimp with rice.
