Ingredients

Wasabi Mayo:

1 c Mayo

1-2 t prepared Wasabi

1/4 t each fresh lime, lemon and orange zest

1 t each fresh lime and orange juice

pinch Kosher salt

BURGERS:

Whisk together:

1/2 T minced, fresh ginger

1/2 T minced, fresh garlic

1/4 t minced kafir - lime leaf

2 T Soy

1 T Honey

1 T Asian Sweet Chili Sauce

1 T Sesame Oil

1/2 t onion powder

Add to:

1.5# Ground Beef

Better Quality Burger Rolls/Buns

1-2 T olive oil

Preparation

Place Wasabi mayo ingredients in medium bowl; stir thoroughly. Adjust seasoning to your personal taste. Cover and refrigerate while preparing burgers.

Whisk together Teriyaki Sauce ingredients and pour over Ground Beef. Mix gently and form into 4-5 patties 1/2" thick. Grill on BBQ, stovetop or George Forman-type Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, until MR. Remove to a plate, cover and let rest 5 minutes. Brush inside of buns with olive oil and place on grill ’til golden brown and toasty. Brush each side with the Wasabi Mayo and fill with a burger. Serve immediately to the oooh’s and aaah’s of your guests.
