Ingredients

2-pounds beef (can use meat of choice- flank, shoulder) 1 1/2" thick

1TBS minced fresh gingerroot (or 1/2 tps ground ginger)

1 tps sugar

4 TBS peanut oil

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 TBS dry sherry

1 clove garlic minced

Preparation

Trim steak and put in freezer for 20 minutes to make it easy to slice. Then slice steak across grain thinly. Combine rest of ingredients and marinate the meat in it for 30 minutes. Remove meat from marinade and stir fry. Add rest of marinade as sauce.
