Ingredients

(12-oz.) can water-packed tuna, drained, flaked

(8-oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained

1/2

cup chopped celery

1/3

cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

tablespoons sliced green onions

slices whole wheat bread, toasted

(1-oz.) slices American or Cheddar cheese, halved

Preparation

In medium bowl, combine tuna, pineapple, celery, mayonnaise and onions; mix well. Spread on toasted bread slices. Top each with 2 pieces of cheese.

Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat for about 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
