Ingredients

Cake

2 cups flour

2 cups sugar

1 cup butter

4 tablespoons cocoa

1 cup water

1/2 cup buttermilk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon soda

2 eggs

Frosting

1 cube butter

4 tablespoons cocoa

1/3 cup milk

1 box powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Combine flour and sugar.

Combine butter, cocoa, and water. Bring to a boil and pour over flour and sugar.

Combine buttermilk, vanilla, soda and eggs. Stir and add to other ingredients.

Pour into greased 11 x 17 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Start making frosting 5 minutes before cake is done.

For frosting bring to a boil the butter, cocoa and milk. Add 1 box powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and nuts.

spoon over hot cake.
