Ingredients
2-1/4 c flour
2 c sugar
1/2 t salt
2 sticks oleo
1 c water
3 T cocoa
2 eggs
1t soda
1/2 c butter milk
1-1/2 t vanilla
Preparation
sift dry ing.Melt oleo,water,cocoa, pour over dry ing. Another bowl, mix eggs, soda, buttermilk, and vanilla. add to above mixture. Bake on cookie sheet. at 350–30 min Frost immediately 1 stick oleo 3 T. cocoa 6 t buttermilk add 1 pound powdered sugar and 1 t vanilla. add nuts if desired.
