Ingredients
Squash
4 cups cooked squash (canned, frozen, or fresh)
3 eggs slightly beaten
1 cup canned evaporated milk
1 stick butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Topping
2 1/2 cup crushed corn flakes
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 stick melted butter
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Beat squash and softened butter. Add remaining ingredients and beat. Bake in two 9 inch square pans for 40 to 60 minutes.
Mix topping ingredients together and sprinkle over cooked squash. Put under broiler for a few seconds to brown. Watch carefully as topping burns very easily.
