Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) of room temperature butter (unsalted or salted)
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups of flour
2 1/2 cups of oatmeal
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
8-12 oz chocolate chips
1 chocolate bar (optional)
nuts (optional)
Preparation
preheat oven to 375 degrees
- cream together the butter and sugars
- add the eggs and vanilla
- measure two and half cups of oatmeal and slowly add it to the blender until it is finely ground to a flour-like consistancy
- add the combined flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and oatmeal, mix well
- stir in a melted chocolate bar (optional) and some nuts (optional)
- stir in the chocolate chips
- roll them into golf ball sized balls and put them on a oiled/greased baking pan/sheet…
- bake for 7 minutes
