Ingredients
1 lb. crabmeat
1/2 C. chopped cooked shrimp
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 C. bread crumbs (such as panko, unseasoned)
1 T. shallots, chopped, or green onions
1/4 C. parsley, freshly chopped
1/2 C. mayo, or less
1 clove garlic, minced
freshly ground pepper to taste
dash of Worcestershire sauce
1/4 C. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
Preparation
Combine all ingredients well and form into patties approx. 4-5" in diameter. Pat on additional bread crumbs. Fry in butter or oil over med. high heat for approx. 2-3 min. on ea. side or until golden brown. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
