onion - sauté to clear, not brown.
Figs
Dates
Raisins
chopped pecans
chopped walnuts
chopped almonds
Preparation
Make pastry with olive oil. Fry onion in olive oil. Layer onion to cover crust. Cut up figs, raisins, and dates. Chop walnuts, pecans and almonds. Layer in this order. Top last layer with sugar and cinnamon. Bake it until it is done.
