Ingredients

1 oz. Sake

1 oz. Ocean Spray® Cran•Tangerine® Juice Drink

Preparation

Shake with ice and strain into a frosted cocktail glass. Float a paper-thin tangerine slice for colour (optional.)

For the sake, I chose Kamotsuru Namakakoi Junmai for its crisp, light plummy flavour (and because we happened to have a bottle of it in the Funland test kitchen.) The yorkrules tasting panel remarked on the drink’s “sweet” and “tangy” first impressions, a subtle and fleeting finish - “…like having just taken a bite of fruit” - and an absence of alcohol taste (although, at 14.8% alcohol by volume, this is no teetotaling sipper.)
