Ingredients

2 Slices of rye or swirled rye / pumpernickel bread

1/4 Avocado (small, sliced)

1/2 C. Sauerkraut

1 Tbsp. thousand island dressing

1 Slice Swiss cheese

1-2 Slices of tomato

1 Small hand full of spinach

Optional:

1/2 Tsp. spicy deli mustard

Preparation

Lightly toast the bread.

While the bread is toasting, heat the sauerkraut either in the microwave for about 30 seconds or in a frying pan on the stove until warm.

Layer all the ingredients on one piece of bread, add the other half and enjoy.

Perfect with some deli chips, spicy mustard and a good beer.
