Ingredients
1 cup chopped pecans
1 pkg yellow cake mix
1 pkg instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup dk rum or substitute
Glaze
1/4 # butter
1/4 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup dk rum or substitute
Preparation
A. Grease and flour 10" tube pan B. Sprinkle nuts over pan bottom C. Mix remaining ingredients, pour in batter, and bake 1 hr at 325F. D. Invert over plate and ice pick many holes over top, add glaze slowly. Glaze Melt butter, stir in water and sugar. Boil 5 min. Stir constantly. Stir in rum or substitute.
