Ingredients

Ingredients

1 large can organic crushed tomatoes (Muir is what I used of this recipe)

1 can smoky black beans

1 can chili beans

2 cans kidney beans

2 cans creamed corn

1 c. chopped onion

1 c. chopped bell pepper

1/4 c. banana pepper (you can use jalopano if you want)

4 c. vegetable broth

2 tbsp cumin seed fresh ground

4 tbsp chili powder

1 tbsp. ceyanne powder (you can use as much as you want)

1 tbsp. Salt

Preparation

Directions

Put small amount of water in pan and saute onions, and peppers (both kinds) in pan (I will note that I use water to keep the fat content down you can use oil if you wish). After all this is done, about 2 minutes add in the rest of the ingredients. Bring to boil and drop heat to simmer for around 2 hours. Stirring every 15 to 20 minutes. This will make the chili semi thick and absolutely delicious! Please feel free to adjust seasoning as desired. I prefer a light to med. spicyness but others may prefer a hot spicyness. This makes 12 1 cup servings.
