Ingredients
½ pound soft ripened brie
½ cup (1 stick) butter
2 tablespoons tomato paste
3 garlic cloves, minced
½ loaf fresh French bread, cut in half lengthwise
Preparation
In food processor fitted with the metal blade or blender, process brie, butter. tomato paste and garlic until smooth, scraping sides often. Place bread halves on baking sheet. Spread brie mixture over cut sides. Bake at 375 degrees 15 minutes until cheese is brown and bubbly. Cut each half in thirds. Serve warm. Makes 6 servings.
