Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 1/3 cups sugar
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
3 tablespoons water
2 cups sliced almonds, copped and toasted
2 8oz milk chocolate bars, melted
Preparation
Melt butter in heavy 2 quart saucepan.
Add sugar, corn syrup and water.
Cook and stir to hard crack stage.
Quickly stir in 1 cup of the almonds and spread in an ungreased 9x13 pan.
Allow to cool completely
Turn out on waxed paper, spread top with half of the chocolate and half a cup of the almonds.
Cool completely until chocolate is set
Flip over into waxed paper and repeat with the rest of the chocolate and almonds.
Cool until chocolate is hard.
Break into small pieces.
