Ingredients

1 #10 can of diced tomatoes (12 cups)

3 Tablespoons sugar

1/3 cup olive oil

3 Tablespoons fresh minced garlic

1/4-1/2 Tablespoon black pepper

1 1/2 Tablespoon salt

1 oz. fresh basil (cut in strips)

1/3 cup fresh parsley

2 1/4 cup tomato puree

Preparation

Put all ingredients (except tomato puree) into pot and bring to boil. Add puree and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over favorite pasta.
