Ingredients

6-10 crusty rolls

Butter

Garlic salt

refried beans

Salsa

Lettuce leaf

1 Tbls oil

flank steak cut into strips

salt and pepper to taste (for the meat)

Preparation

In a large skillet heat the oil add the meat strips and cook, drain off excess fat and keep warm

Heat the beans, through, and keep warm

Take the rolls, cut in half. From one side scoop out some of the bread to form a pocket. Butter and lightly sprinkle with garlic salt. Place them on a baking sheet under the broiler till they are golden brown.

Once the rolls are ready spoon a little of the refried beans in the pocket, top with some salsa, some lettuce and some of the meat strips. Serve warm!
