Ingredients
2 cups water
2 cups ketchup
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1 tsp onion powder
2 tbs prepared yellow mustard
2 tsp hot pepper sauce (or
to taste)
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
2 tbs soy sauce
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan, and bring to a light boil over high heat, stirring frequently. Reduce to simmer, stirring frequently, for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Sauce will continue to thicken somewhat as it cools. Refrigerated left overs.
