Ingredients

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 bunch green onions, diced small (about six)

1/4 cup of apple cider

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon mild chili powder

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 pounds of green cabbage, diced small

3 medium carrots, shredded

1/2 pound of red cabbage, diced small

Preparation

Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, salt, chili powder and pepper in a bowl until mixed well, then toss with cabbage and carrots. Let stand in fridge or at room temperature, tossing once or twice, until wilted, about 45 minutes. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
