Ingredients

1Qt Crystal hot sauce

8oz can of crushed pineapple, drained, reserve juice

1 9oz can mango nectar

1 9oz can pineapple/guava nectar

2.5 sticks unsalted butter, cold

2tsp black pepper

1/4 cup brown sugar

2tsp ground garlic

1.5 tsp salt

1tsp crushed red pepper

Preparation

Heat half a stick of butter in a pot, put in crushed pineapple and brown sugar and let cook on medium to low heat for 5 minutes. Put mango, pineapple/guava nectar, pepper, ground garlic, salt and red pepper and let simmer for about 8-10 minutes or until reduced by a quarter to a half. Stir in hot sauce and bring to a simmer, then stir in butter. Serve when butter is melted and returns to a simmer
