Ingredients
Turkey drippings
Ice cubes
Low-sodium Chicken Broth (to make 5 C with drippings)
3 Garlic cloves (roasted with turkey)
1/2 onion (roasted with turkey)
6 Tbsp cornstarch
1 can Cream of Chicken soup
Preparation
- Gather drippings in glass bowl. Add ice cubes to separate fat. Skim fat and add drippings to pot.
- Add chicken broth to make 5 cups. Heat over Med/Low til hot.
- Mash garlic and onion and add to pot.
- Combine cornstarch and 1 C chicken broth in bowl. Add to pot slowly and heat til thickened.
- Add spoonfuls of Cream of Chicken soup to thicken further, if desired.
