Ingredients
1 egg white, beaten
1/2 small red onion, minced
1/4 cup minced cilantro
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 pound ground turkey breast
8 whole wheat dinner rolls, cut in half
4 leaves lettuce, halved
2 tomatoes, cut into 4 slices
1 avocado, sliced
Preparation
whisk together the egg white, onion, cilanto, cumin, and salt in a medium bowl. add the turkey and mix just until blended. shape into 8 burgers. heat a skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat. cook the burgers, turning once, for 6 minutes or until well browned. place the bottoms of 2 dinner rolls on 4 plates. top with 1 piece of lettuce and 1 tomato slice. place 1 burger on each and top with the avocado and the top of the roll.
