Ingredients
1 lb. ground turkey
4 cups water
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
3 medium carrots, sliced
2 medium potatoes, cubed (peeled if you prefer)
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
4 bouillon cubes (or 2-3 teaspoons of soup base)
1.5 tsp salt
.25 tsp pepper
.25 tsp oregano
1 cup cut green beans, fresh or frozen
Preparation
Brown ground turkey in a large saucepan until no longer pink; drain.
Add next 10 ingredients (everything except the green beans) and bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15 minutes or until potatoes and carrots are tender.
Add beans, cover and simmer another 15 minutes or so.
