Ingredients
1/2 pound ground lamb
1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 peeled and seeded ripe tomato, diced
1 teaspoon pomegranate molasses
1 heaped tablespoon köfte mix
salt
freshly ground pepper
Preparation
Knead meats with garlic, tomato, molasses and spice mix. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
With wet hands, divide into equal parts and mold patties. Cook on griddle or barbecue 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
