Ingredients

1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix

3/4 cup butter

2/3 Evaporated Milk

15 oz caramels (unwrapped)

1 12 oz bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350. Grease & flour a 9x13 pan.

Mix dry cake mix, 3/4 cup melted butter and 1/3 c evaporated milk. Spread 1/2 of mixture into pan and bake for 4-6 minutes.

Melt caramels and other 1/3 cup evaporated milk over low heat until completely melted.

Pull pan out of oven. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and spread caramel on top of the chips. Crumble the other 1/2 of the brownie mix on top of the caramel and bake for 18-20 minutes.
