Ingredients

4-5 sweet potatoes

1 stick butter, cut into small chunks

1/3 cup cream or whole milk

Salt/Pepper

Brown sugar or marshmallows

Preparation

Preheat oven, 190 C. Slit potatoes for roasting. Cook for 45-55 minutes (till they are soft). Remove potatoes from oven, let cool to touch.

Preheat oven to 220 C.

Skin potatoes and place in large bowl. Combine 3/4 of the butter, cream, salt, and pepper to taste. Beat or whip ingredients together. Place mashed/ whipped combination in shallow baking pan. Distribute remaining butter and brown sugar or marshmallows on top of mashed potatoes. Bake until warmed through and browned, 10-15 minutes.
